How You Can Help
STT relies heavily on our support network of donors as we do not receive any Government funding and we do need your help.
Over 90 pence in every pound donated goes directly to our work in Tanzania.
Any amount, no matter how little or small, will make a difference. Here are some examples of what your money could do:
- £10 will pay for a family to receive an energy efficient stove
- £80 will pay for all the equipment to set up a nursery
- £1000 will pay for a motor bike which will help STT to regularly work in more villages.

On-line: You can donate straightaway by credit card using our secure online form.
By post: If you prefer, you can fill in this form and send STT a gift in the form of a cheque.
Please note: If you are giving by post and would like to take advantage of Gift Aid, please fill in the Gift Aid Declaration Form and post it with your gift.

Give Regularly:
Giving regularly, by standing order or through your payroll at work, helps us know what funds we will be receiving, therefore making our financial planning easier and more efficient. Any amount you can give will be valuable to us and will be used directly to help our projects in Tanzania. Follow this link for the standing order mandate form.
Whichever way you choose, please take advantage of the Gift Aid scheme. Through this government scheme, STT can receive extra money from the Inland Revenue, boosting donations by nearly 30%, at no extra cost to you.
Join Our Supporters Network: If you would like to receive regular newsletters and updates about our work, follow this link to the supporters network form and print it out and return it to us with your subscription. We hope to be able to start local groups in areas where we have several supporters. The groups would raise awareness of our work in their community and organise fundraising activities such as sponsored events, concerts, coffee mornings, anything that members can think of. Hopefully you would meet like-minded people and have fun while helping a good cause.

Everyclick is a search engine, similar to Google but for every search you make 1p is donated to Sunseed Tanzania Trust. This may not sound much but for every person using Everyclick on a regular basis you can raise around £5 per month – this goes a long way towards purchasing stoves or equipment for nurseries. If all our supporters were to use this site we would be able to support a village for two years – FREE.

Fundraise while you shop
This is a FREE fundraising site and is as easy as 1-2-3. For every purchase you make from the listed retailers Sunseed Tanzania Trust gains a donation. This does not cost you anymore than your usual purchase would and does not take long to set up – once registered all you have to do is click on easyfundraising before searching for your retailer and making your purchase. See below for the process.
- To start please Register so easyfundraising knows which cause you want to support. You can find Sunseed Tanzania Trust in the list of registered charities. Registration is completely FREE.
- Next, login using your username / password. This is how the system recognises who you are and which cause benefits when you make purchases.
- Finally, click any of the retailer links provided and then shop just as you would normally.
That's all you need to do - apart from remembering to return to the site next time you are going to shop online!!
Providing you login and use the retailer links provided they'll track all your transactions and pay Sunseed Tanzania Trust the appropriate donations. These will then be displayed in your easyfundraising account (which you can access online). |
